Party-list groups likely to stay in Congress

Several leftist and militant party-list groups led by Bayan Muna are likely to make it in May and return to the House of Representatives to represent their respective sectors.

National Security Adviser Norberto Gonzales, who has been waging a crusade to prevent the election of persons identified with the communist movement, will have to do a lot of campaigning to prevent the victory of representatives of these groups.
